Shri Damodar Mishra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree in Economics.He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers.

With over 25 years of professional experience, he has contributed extensively to diverse areas of rural finance and development. During his tenure at NABARD, he served in various capacities across the Head Office in Mumbai and Regional Offices in Chandigarh, Lucknow, and Bhubaneswar. His core expertise spans institutional development, rural infrastructure financing, rural credit planning & monitoring, and fostering financial inclusion.

Prior to his appointment as CEO of NCGTC, Shri Mishra served as CEO of NABSanrakshan Trustee Private Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of NABARD) and as Officer-in-Charge of NABARD’s Arunachal Pradesh Regional Office.
