Mr. Naresh Kumar is serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company (NCGTC) since October 2024, bringing with him over 25 years of diverse experience across the Financial Sector, Development Finance and Rural Finance. He brings 25 years of distinguished experience across Banks and Non-Banks, having held senior roles including Deputy Managing Director, Chief Business Officer and Head of Rural Business.

He played a key role in business transformation by executing holistic strategies for banks and non-banks, with a strong focus on financial inclusion and accelerated lending to MSMEs, agriculture, and other priority sectors.

He holds a postgraduate degree in Agriculture, a PGDBA, and has completed the MDP from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) and the Indian Institute of Insurance (III).
